ASH WEDNESDAY
17th February @ 5:30 pm
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning
of the season of Lent. It is a day of
penance to be marked by fasting and
abstinence from meat. Mass will be
celebrated at 5.30 pm on 17th
February. Ashes will be distributed
to the faithful during the mass. If you
still have your old palm leaves,
please put them in the box provided
at the entrance of the church.

STATION OF THE CROSS
19th February @ 5:30 pm
Starting from 19th February, Station
of Cross will be held every Friday at
5.30 pm followed by Mass. Holy
Hour will be at 8:00 pm.

MARRIAGE PREPARATION
COURSE
21st & 28th February
Couples intending to get married this
year are reminded that the next MPC
will be on 21st & 28th February. This
is 2 full day course. Please contact
the parish priest to book a place in
this course and make an
appointment with him.

COM & SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES

Please take note that the 5:30 pm Mass
today, February 7th, will be in Iban
language.

XVIII WORLD DAY OF THE SICK
11th February @ 5:30 pm
In conjunction with this annual event,
parishioners are invited to the special
Mass on 11th February at 5:30 pm.
There will be a special prayer for the
sick at the end of the Mass. We will also
pray for those caring for the sick, whom
we know is also not easy.

INFANT BAPTISM
13th February @ 2:00 pm
The next infant baptism will take place
on Saturday, 13th February, at 2.00pm.
Parents wishing to have their child
baptize are requested to register with
the parish office and to attend the
pre-baptism instruction class on
Wednesday, 6th February, at 7:30 pm.
God parents are also required to attend
this pre-baptism class.

CHINESE NEW YEAR
14th February
There will be a special blessing of
Oranges at the end of the Mass on 14th
February to mark the beginning of the
Chinese Lunar New Year.

his peace in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. To the same Father and to
his mercy you can with sure hope entrust your child. With the friendly and
expert help and advice of other people, and as a result of your own painful

right to life. Through your commitment to life, whether by accepting the
birth of other children or by welcoming and caring for those most in need
of someone to be close to them, you will become promoters of a new way
