The Second Collection this Sunday,
12th September, will be going
towards the Priest Retirement Fund.
Next Sunday, the Second Collection
will be for the Emergency Relief
Fund.

Prayer for Confirmandi
6th September @ 8:00 pm
While the Confirmandi are having
their final retreat in Papar, KK, we
would like everyone, especially the
parents of the confirmandi to join us
for an hour of prayer on Monday,
6th September beginning at 8:00
pm. Our prayer and support will
mean a lot to them.

Bible Study on the Book of
Psalms
We have just started a Bible Study
on the book of Psalms. The next
session will be on 9th September at
7:30 pm in the Parish Hall. If you
have not join one of these bible study
classes, please consider coming to
this class.

Youth Bible Study on the Book
of ACTS
The next session on the Book of
ACTS will be on 9th September at
7:30 pm in Fr. McClorey’s room. We
will be covering ACTS 9-16.

Infant Baptism
12th September
The next infant baptism will take
place on Sunday 12th September at
the 8:00 am Mass. Parents wishing
to have their child baptized are
requested to register with the
parish office and to attend the
pre-baptism instruction class with
Fr. Robert on Tuesday, 7th
September, @ 7.30 pm. God parents
are also requested to attend this pre
–baptism class.

Bishop Cornelius’s birthday
16th September
Our bishop will be celebrating his
59th birthday this year. Please offer
a special prayer for him and don’t
forget to message him how much he
counts to you on that day. He will
still be away in East Timor during
that time on a mission outing with a
group of young adults. Your prayer
will certainly make a difference to
his work there. Pray also for all the
young adults who are with him to
East Timor.

Battle of the Bands 2010
18th September
This year Battle of the Bands will be
held on 18th September 2010. It is
a biennial event that is hosted by
the COOL Youth. Tickets are now
on sale for $2.00 (Adult ) & $1.00
for children at the church entrance
after the mass or at the parish
office during working hours.

Worldwide Children’s
Eucharistic Holy Hour
1st October
Each first Friday of October
Catholic school children and all the
children of the world gather in their
diocesan cathedrals, parish
churches and chapels, spiritually
uniting their prayers with children
throughout the world, for the
intentions of their own families and
all the families of the world. All
parents are thus encouraged to
bring their children before the Most
Blessed Sacrament in a global Holy
Hour on Friday, October 1st @ 7:30
pm, to console the Eucharistic
Heart of Jesus, and to pray for their
own family and all the families of
the world!
