Prayer for Vocation

O God, the harvest is great but the laborers are few. In your mysterious plan
for men's salvation, you have chosen to work through us human beings.
Grant to all of us the strength and conviction to live truly Christian lives, so
that through us you may redeem and sanctify those around us. Call from
among us many priests, religious brothers and sisters to continue the work
of your Church among our people. Give to those whom you call the grace
and generosity to dedicate their lives to your service. We pray especially
for our Catholic Youth here in Brunei, that they may persevere in following
your call and reach the aim of the priesthood and religious life. We offer you
this prayer through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

VOCATION PRAYER TREE

What is it?

The vocation prayer tree is a tree with names of young
people whom we want to pray for. The names are offered
by parents for their children. The tree will be located in the Eucharistic
chapel. The name of each child will be written
in the tags by their parents and it will be sealed with
special prayers and St. Benedict's Cross. The Friends of
Serra prayer community, with the participating parents
will offer special prayers for the intentions of the names in
the tree during daily masses, Eucharistic Adoration for Vocation, and
Sunday Masses. Parents willing to gift their children to the priestly or
religious life, can submit their children's name(s) to be placed on the
vocation tree. Names can be forwarded to Fr Robert or to any vocation
team member for this purpose. The names will remain confidential and
will not be visible to anybody.
